ARE YOUR LABELS WATERPROOF?
Yes! They are fully laminated in a gorgeous gloss laminate to protect your sticker. Lamination is permanently adhered to your printed sticker, in order to create a truly waterproof surface. Lamination also ensures your sticker is protected from the elements. All of our laminated sticker labels are waterproof, dishwasher safe, freezer safe, microwave safe, laundry safe and weatherproof.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAMINATED STICKERS & PLAY STICKERS?
The difference is in the process in which they are made. Laminated stickers are protected from the elements and play stickers are just that, for play and not meant for long-term durability.
WHAT SURFACES CAN I USE MY STICKER LABELS ON?
Our sticker labels are durable and have been rigorously tested for many months in the harshest conditions (We literally tried to destroy them!), to see what they can hold up to. Our sticker labels will stay adhered to most smooth, hard surfaces, but they should not be used with porous, silicone or anti-stick, Teflon surfaces.
CAN YOUR LABELS BE USED ON CLOTHING?
Yes and no. Yes, our laminated sticker labels can be used on clothing, but only on satin care tags that are sewn into your garments. Our labels will not stay adhered to textured tags as the surface is not smooth enough to create an intense and lasting bond.
CAN I REMOVE THE LABEL AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?
Yes. Though our labels are meant for durability and longevity, they are also removable. Simply pick at a corner and peel it off. It cannot be reused once peeled off. If you are having trouble, try removing it after a hot cycle in the dryer. The sticker will be pliable and soft, thus creating ease to remove it. That being said, please be very careful not to pick at, or pull on your labels when they are fresh out of the warm dishwasher/dryer/microwave, as the bond can easily be broken when they are soft. Once cooled, they will be intensely bonded again. If labels are picked at, scraped on the corners, etc. the bond will not be intense and can cause premature lifting.
HOW MUCH TO SHIP?
All of our sticker labels and multi packs have FREE shipping within Canada (4 sheets is the limit per envelope, after which the tracked option will be available. They are shipped via letter mail (Approximately 2-8+ business days) and are not tracked or insured, so when ordering larger amounts of stickers, please keep in mind, tracked is a better option. For customers in the U.S.A., shipping is $3.50 CAD, or you may choose the tracked option.
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR LABELS?
Our labels have the same TAT as the other items in the shop. TAT is approximately 4 weeks, but a rush option is available if you need your items in a hurry ($20.00 per item, ready to ship in 2 weeks). Please send us an email at email@example.com to inquire.
LONG NAMES VS. SHORT NAMES ON LABELS?
Our label sizes for each sheet are standard, but depending on the name, your label may appear differently with a long name vs. a short name. Longer names will appear smaller in text size and shorter names will appear bigger (See example photos in product listings). The same goes with double names. Longer names/double names will appear much smaller.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM DESIGNS?
We do not currently offer custom designs.
CAN I SPLIT THE STICKER SHEET INTO DIFFERENT NAMES/DESIGNS?
No. We cannot split the sticker sheet/multi pack into different names/designs, but a great recommendation is to use a last name if you wish to use your stickers for multiple children in the family.
MY CHILD'S NAME HAS AN ACCENT, CAN YOU DO THAT?
Yes! Please indicate in the notes section at checkout, if your child has an accent in their name. We print the name exactly as it is written on your order.
WHAT TEMPERATURES CAN YOUR STICKERS BE WASHED AT?
Our sticker labels can be used for a variety of items, and though they are made for durability and longevity, following these recommendations can prolong the life of your stickers:
- Stickers on satin care tags should be inside your garment, to avoid abrasion in the wash. Machine wash cold. Warm/hot dryer. Avoid rubbing, touching/picking/scratching your labels when they are warm/hot from the dryer.
- Do not iron your labels. Our sticker labels are NOT meant to be ironed and the extreme heat will melt and ruin them.
- Stickers on items that are put in the dishwasher. Yes, they are dishwasher safe, but your stickers should not be put in the sanitize/very hot dishwasher cycles. Avoid rubbing, touching/picking/scratching your labels when they are warm from the dishwasher.
CAN MY CHILD HELP APPLY THEIR STICKER LABELS?
No. Our laminated sticker labels are NOT a toy. There are small pieces that can pose as a choking hazard. Always have an adult apply your sticker label and always follow our directions to ensure you have a properly prepared surface, so there is no premature lifting/peeling. A properly prepared surface is key to a long lasting bond of your sticker label. Also, for stickers used on items by babies and small children, always supervise your baby/child when the stickers are in use on their items. Never leave your child alone with any small pieces/stickers on bottles, etc.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Our stickers are made with the highest quality materials and are laminated in a gorgeous gloss laminate. Proper preparation/application is key to a long lasting bond of your sticker label.
- Ensure desired surface is smooth and flat. Area should be wiped (preferrably) with rubbing alcohol and a lint free wipe. Make sure area is clean, dry and free from all oils and debris.
- Carefully peel up sticker from sheet, ensuring hands are clean, dry and free from oils.
- Ensure label is straight and apply carefully, pressing down firmly in the centre, outwards. Be sure not to stretch your sticker when applying, as it may retract over time and weaken the bond.
- To ensure the tack has had time to fully set on your item, wait 48 hours before washing, wetting, or laundering your items. This will create an intense bond.
